About me
Welcome my name is Linzi. I am an experienced Counsellor / Cognitive behavioural Therapist, I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work within their ethical framework. I currently practice in Coventry and Warwickshire area.
Cognitive behavioural therapy, is a talking therapy that looks to help you manage your problems by enabling you to Recognise, and change, the way you think and behave. During therapy we will work together in a collaborative way, focusing on the here and now, while looking at how past events have shaped your thinking and behaviours.
I am passionate about helping people find a way of living their lives emotionally healthy and fulfilled. Everyone goes through difficulties at some point during their life. Counselling is an effective way to help you through these difficult times. I offer and provide a non-judgmental safe, confidential environment which allows you to work through your difficulties.
I have experience of working with individuals with a range of difficulties and issues, some including, depression, panic attacks, loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, confidence issues and work related problems. I have specialised training, and a broad experience of working with individuals who have suffered from rape and or sexual abuse, experienced in recent and childhood. I also work with IAPTs NHS working with individual clients suffering from anxiety and depression.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Are anxiety issues, depression, low self esteem and confidence affecting your child's life?? Young people face many pressures in every day life, mental health is an important aspect of a young persons life. Too often young people are suffering from mental health related issues that go unrecognised. Early intervention is crucial. But the good news is fortunately they do not have to cope alone. Here's how our workshops can help, we understand that group work can be a scary process, that's why we put immense energy into creating a welcoming , safe, calm environment. We are fully qualified with a full DBS check. We also offer evidence based treatment which is fast and affordable. At present we are running three groups. Age 4 to 9 years, Age 10 to 13 years and Age 14 to 17 years
Self- esteem is extremely important to the happiness of children and teens.
1 in every 5 children will experience a mental health issue, it has been found that self-talk is behind depression and anxiety, so it is important to teach positive self-talk, research suggests that early intervention is crucial.
