My name is Linsey and I offer person-centered counselling.
This means I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Through discussion you should discover the first steps you feel you need to take in order to make the changes in your life you feel may be necessary to feel more content in life.
I am a supportive, compassionate and non-judgmental person with a genuine desire to assist people in improving their well-being.
You may find that you have a particular goal you would like to achieve in therapy or it may be something more general e.g to feel more confident/happy within yourself. Therapy works in a way which helps you to find clarity in your current situation, and I will work in a way that suits you best.
I am currently studying in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, so although I work in a person-centered way, there is a possibility we could use CBT techniques if you feel it may benefit you in your process.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy which means I work safely and ethically, and have up-to-date training.
