Profile
People decide to visit a counsellor for many reasons. You may want help with a crisis or specific problem in your life at the moment, resolve issues from your past, or feel stuck and unable to move forwards in your life.
As an experienced Counsellor and Life Coach I use a range of knowledge and methods that will help you gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and support you to make lasting and meaningful changes.
You may wish to:
- manage anger, anxiety or stress
- overcome depression, including post natal depression
- improve your relationships
- cope with a bereavement or other loss
- recover from stress related illness
- eliminate post traumatic stress
- deal with work related issues
- move on from separation and divorce
- improve your self esteem and have more confidence
- adapt to life changes
In our initial session we explore what the issues are facing you at the moment, what you want to achieve from therapy and how often to meet, and, if you wish, how many sessions to have. This can be from as little as three sessions, though most people have between six and twelve.
My aim is to help you gain personal awareness, give you tools and knowledge whilst supporting you to cope creatively and effectively with life's challenges and changes, now, and in the future.

"Linda, for me, is one of the best counsellors I have come across. She makes you feel like an individual, that nothing is too trivial or too major to be dealt with, she commands respect for what she does in a very calm and unassuming manner, and she makes you work through things at a pace that is right for you" Sue Herne
