Lincolnshire Counselling and Mediation Service
Lincolnshire Counselling and Mediation Service (LCMS) is an independent charity established in Lincoln in 1996. It has a vision of offering a professional, comprehensive and affordable counselling and mediation service to the community.
All counsellors; supervisors and volunteers at LCMS work to a Code of Ethics under the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
All our Volunteer Counsellors are professionally trained to a minimum Diploma level qualification. All receive regular clinical supervision in line with BACP ethical practice.
All practitioners are Members of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) or UKCP, with current Public Liability Insurance.

Suggested donations based on income are as follows:
We base our donations upon a fair and equitable approach based upon personal circumstances.
For those employed:
- £1 per £1000 earned e.g. £14,000 per year would equate to £14.00 a session, however this is not fixed and can be adapted to meet personal circumstances
For those unemployed:
We ask for a small affordable donation minimum £5
Tuesday 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Wednesday 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.
We are aiming to open more days a week from Autumn 2014.
