Couples Therapists need to explore, and work with what lies between the partners as well as what goes on within each individual person. Couples come together with individual histories and experiences. Things that have happened in the past, and in the present, can produce obstacles to satisfaction, intimacy and vitality in the relationship, just as they may produce resources which can enhance a relationship.
What I can offer - I work with both individuals and couples, offering a safe space to think through issues that may be causing concern.
Areas of working with that I have experience of dealing with include:
Feelings of depression
Anxiety and stress
Bereavement and other losses
