About me

I am an experienced and compassionate Psychologist with Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I run a private psychology practice in Leeds City Centre offering therapeutic services to adults. I specialise in the treatment of trauma as well as anxiety and depression.

Training, qualifications & experience

Previously, I have worked in the NHS with young people who have experienced psychosis. I have also worked for charities with trauma survivors presenting with complex and chronic anxiety. Currently, I work in private practice as it is my preferred area, allowing me to work with people from various strands of life affected by diverse debilitating issues such as anxiety, guilt, anger, depression, relational difficulties, pain management, sexual difficulties, sleeping problems, stress, OCD and others.

I abide by ethical standards set by the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council UK. This way you can feel reassured that the treatment you receive is ethical and evidence based.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
