I am a fully accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor, offering one to one counselling in Stilton which is a village conveniently located off of the A1 at Norman Cross.
Counselling has been a big and important part of my life for the last 12 years.
We all find ourselves at times in situations that may make us feel overwhelmed and not knowing how to cope or what to do.
At these times it is useful to be able to talk to someone professional, who is not connected to the situation, but has the training to be able to help you to work out the best possible way forward for you.
I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment for you to do this.
The first session will be a time to assess how counselling can help you. This is also an opportunity to see how it feels to work together before taking the decision to continue with counselling.
We can work on a short or long term basis depending on your needs.
Currently I work in Primary Healthcare, counselling in surgeries in Peterborough.
I am also a member of the Cambridgeshire Consultancy in Counselling.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
1995: Foundation year, and Two Year Professional Certificate Course in Psychodynamic Counselling and Developmental Psychology.

I achieved BACP Accreditation in 2007
2009: Two year Diploma Course in Integrative Psychotherapy
The Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy – New York & The Manchester Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy - Uk
Previous to attending the above course I have attended courses related to the principles and methods of Integrative Psychotherapy.
My experience of Cognitive Therapy was initially gained by taking an introduction and basic skills course at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre. I have since taken other workshops on this style of working.
I am committed to attending regular training and personal development to help me to be able to do the best job that I can.
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Therapist and UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor/Therapist.
My experience includes working with staff and students at New College Stamford.
