Hello and Welcome,
Life can often throw us unwelcome surprises and sometimes we need help beyond our circle of friends, someone who is not only a good listener, but also someone who is skilled. As a trained counsellor, I see many come through my door and after a season, I see them transformed, healed and with hope for the future.

Before becoming a psychotherapist/counsellor, I spent 14 years working as a family minister in various churches in the UK and in America. I have worked with thousands of young people and families from a multitude of backgrounds over the years. Before my current role as a part time psychotherapist within a multicultural academy; I worked as a counsellor within a young offenders institute.

I am concerned and committed for the healing, the well-being and development of you as a whole person: body, mind and spirit. I offer a space that is non-threatening and non-judgmental where a new expression of who you truly are can begin to immerge, it is a space to re-imagine your life and future, a way to examine and work through issues you may have so that genuine healing and change can occur.

Additonally, I also use a combination of art, music and drama therapy as well as meditation techniques when appropriate.

I use an integrative approach and offer therapy for:

Depression, Anxiety, Body Image, Low Self-Esteem, Emotional Difficulties, Stress, Sexual Abuse, Trauma, Relationship Difficulties, Life Changes, Bereavement, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm, Sexuality, Addictions, Anger Management Domestic Violence, Unresolved Past Hurts, Couple Counselling and Work Related Issues

I offer counselling for Adults & Adolescents, I also offer Christian Counselling.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

To date I have completed over 700 counselling/therapy hours with a variety of people with all kinds of presenting problems including those whom have been clinically diagnosed from their doctor.

I also lead counselling workshops and training events for those wishing to learn the basics for their personal and professional development. All my work is supervised by an accredited clinical supervisor and conforms to the ethical requirements of the BACP which I am a member.

I have a BA(Hons) in Integrative Counselling and am currently pursuing an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy as well as a qualification in clinical supervision.

Fees

Sessions are charged at £40 per hour.
