About me

Hello and welcome to my page, you've taken the first step towards change and I appreciate this can be a daunting step to make. I believe finding the right counsellor for you is of the utmost importance as is working at your own pace, where you can explore your current situation and the choices open to you.

Together we can start your journey where you are able to be heard which is important, I aim to create an environment where you feel both safe and supported.

I work within a humanistic way which means that I come from a place of believing that any issues you are currently facing can affect your whole existence. I work in a way that respects your freedom and choice and focuses on how you are feeling in the here and now, whilst also understanding that the past and future are a part of your existence.

I offer One to One counselling sessions in my therapy room at home in my garden, which is quiet and tranquil. I also offer One to One sessions in a quiet Beauty Salon in the beautiful village of Steeple Ashton where we offer many offer therapies.

Prior to practising as a Counsellor I worked as a Beauty Therapist where I worked with the well being of others but I felt I wanted to offer something for the whole person, not only taking care of the outside but holding and nurturing the inner peace of a person.

I have experience of working with clients either short term or long term so together we will find which method suits your personal needs.
