I am a qualified integrative counsellor working in London Bridge, Kingston, and Surbiton. I have a focus on relationships and identity. I will work with you with confidentiality and trust to help you examine the concerns you bring and develop greater self-awareness.
As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I'm aligned with the BACP ethical framework.
I have worked with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over eight years of experience working with adolescents and adults in social support and educational settings. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling from a BACP accredited programme. Developing a positive and supportive therapeutic relationship is vital to me.
The work I have done with clients has centred around trauma and the attachments or relationship patterns that are developed over time. Many of my clients are struggling with their identity, anxiety, depression, abuse, isolation, sexuality, gender, learning differences, loss and bereavement, eating disorders, and other issues. This is a brief summary of the diverse concerns clients have brought. I have also been lucky to work with individuals from many different backgrounds and ages in my work in central and south London.
With integrative training, I draw from several schools to inform my work with you, such as the humanistic core conditions, gestalt philosophy, psychodynamic theory, and cognitive behavioural strategies. I ultimately trust that the client knows the best route themselves, though, and I am there to help you discover that and offer observations as you present themes through your work with me.
I trained as a counsellor through the CPPD Counselling School in London. I also have a MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from the University of Michigan in the U.S. I am in ongoing professional development in specific areas of counselling and have taken several short courses on targeted issues.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and align to their ethical framework.

I see clients in London Bridge, Kingston, & Surbiton.
We will start with an assessment session. Then, if we choose to go forward, we'll meet every week for 50 minutes with periodic reviews of our work. After the first session, we'll decide together on how many sessions to start with. This can be re-assessed if you decide you would like to continue. It will depend on your individual needs whether it is long term or short term work.
