Laura Drane MA, MBACP, MFDAP
I have been working as a therapist for several years, and have experience of both one-to-one work and group therapy. I am qualified to work with all emotional and psychological issues and have a special interest in addiction, both substance and behavioural.
In addition to my private practice, I work for the Nightingale Hospital in Marylebone; one of the country's leading private Psychiatric Hospitals, and 'The Living Room' in Stevenage; an award-winning addiction treatment centre.
My training at The University of Hertfordshire was based on the Psychodynamic model - focusing on unconscious patterns of relating, and the links between childhood experiences and current problem behaviours and issues.
I tailor my work to suit each individual client, I offer a compassionate and confidential space to explore whatever issues are current. I practice integrity and work to an ethical code which puts the clients' needs first at all times.
