My name is Laura Bratt, I have many years of experience working in Relate Centres across Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire area, Peterborough Prison, NHS Children's Inpatient Mental Health Unit, Specialist Eating Disorders Team and delivering lectures to private level 4 counselling students in further education.
I have been the Relate practitioner for the people of Stamford and surrounding areas for 6 years. Due to the local Relate closing I opened "Stamford Counselling Service" to deliver the same high quality counselling for individuals, couples and family therapy, as well as including my NHS mental health skilled practice.
I hold independent contracts with Lincolnshire County Council for provision of therapy and work as a Psychological Practitioner for CPFT (NHS Peterborough).

As a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I adhere to their ethical framework and I hold full professional indemnity insurance. I attend regular supervision to ensure I am practicing ethically and safely and maintaining BACP standards.

Predominately I have worked as a Relate Counsellor for the last 6 years and in the NHS in various Psychology roles including Assistant Psychologist and Psychological Practitioner.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology
MA in Relationship Therapy
Advanced certificate in Integrative Counselling
Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

My standard fees is £50 per therapeutic hour (50 minutes to an hour)
I also offer two "financial difficulty/ low income" slots which are £25 but these are limited to first come first serve basis.
