Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. This means that you can be confident that you will receive an ethical, professional and accountable service.
My counselling approach…
I aim to provide an environment that is safe, non-judgemental and welcoming in which you can feel confident that you will be heard and understood. My aim is to be a fellow traveller on your journey, supporting you with care, compassion and encouragement. I am confident in your ability to discover your own strengths and solutions and I will work alongside you, offering different perspectives and insights that may assist you in finding them.
You may be able to pinpoint your issue to something concrete such as anxiety, relationship issues or bereavement or you may be struggling to identify reasons for any underlying unhappiness or dissatisfaction that may be present in your life. In either situation, I can help you to find your focus and identify your goals and hopes for the future.
Together, we will explore your present experience of life and any patterns that may emerge during our discussions. Knowledge gained from this exploration can help to increase your self-awareness leading to greater control and confidence in implementing any changes that you feel would enhance and improve your life.
I would welcome your call or email to discuss your specific needs or issues. I will be able to answer any questions you may have about the counselling process or about my training and approach.
