At some points in our life it is important to seek a safe, creative and non-judgemental place to share the difficulties that are simply too confusing to work out alone.
I can offer a psychodynamic way in which to think through the upset, anger and worry that can be felt in the here and now that has bubbled up from, and is linked with, past experiences.
The therapeutic relationship is central to the success and internalisation of long-term change and, so, I am open to speaking or meeting with you for a free initial consultation. It is important to get to know and feel whether the alliance can be a productive one.
I am available for short term or open-ended work.
I am a fully state registered Art Psychotherapist with my practise governed by the Health Professional Council.
I use a diverse set of skills in order to creatively work with the emotive material that you may want to explore.
My aim is for us to move you toward a new self-awareness in order that you find it possible to see the world differently and, find a way to relate to the social environment in a more meaningful and successful way.
Art therapy and creativity can be a very powerful and effective therapeutic method of working as it can initiate internal change through emphasis on reflection, openness and experience.
I regularly attended ‘Continued Professional Development’ courses related to areas of interest, these keep my practise and reflection up to date and in line with current methodologies.
I am dedicated to my own personal process to ensure that I remain available, healthy and consistent to aid you in your own development.
