About me

I offer a confidential, discreet and professional counselling service; I am warm, approachable, and a highly experienced practitioner. Confident and competent in the field of anxiety, depression and addictive behaviours (such as alcohol, substances, food, gambling etc), as well as having vast experience working with work stress, low mood, difficulty negotiating childhood experiences and understanding sexuality.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Counselling as well as a Masters Degree in Clinical Counselling, both of which were completed at the University of Chester and are accredited by the BACP; I am also an accredited member of the National Counselling Society. Currently practicing as a counsellor in private practice covering Chester and Wrexham. Previous to this I worked as a sessional counsellor for a leading Agency in North wales as a behavioural addictions therapist as well as a mental health therapist offering brief intervention therapy and assessing for NHS funded Talking Therapies Agency in Wrexham. I am also a qualified GamCare therapist.
