I am trained in Integrative Counselling, allowing me to synthesise aspects of the three major schools of Counselling - the Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Behavioural approach to suit the needs of each individual client. I offer both long and short term counselling. It is my long held belief that it is the relationship between client and counsellor which facilitates therapeutic change as much as the techniques employed and my counselling style reflects this. I believe that counselling is a process of learning together about the needs and difficulties clients may bring and that working co-operatively together engenders the most favourable outcomes. I work in a comfortable and informal setting wherein clients feel secure and at ease. It is the aim of all the work that I do, to provide clients with the confidence to bring about the changes they desire in a supportive, understanding and collaborative atmosphere.
