I'm an experienced counsellor I aim to bring hope, direction, acceptance, purpose and fulfillment in to your life. I'm an integrative counsellor this means I use a range of different approaches including; CBT - (to change the way we think) - person centered and sometimes it helps to look back at the past; to tailor your therapy to met your particular needs. I work on a person to person level - to keep it simple.
I offer the first session as a consultation free of charge - this is an informal discussion to evaluate how I may help you and also for you to evaluate my service - there is no obligation to continue.
I have experience of counselling clients with a variety of different issues and specialize in relationships; all addictions; domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, work related stress, building confidence, self esteem, loss and bereavement.
I have experience of working in the voluntary sector for a bereavement service; substance misuse services; and a domestic violence service as well as privet practice.

I have a Diploma level 4 integrative counsellor
I have training in -CBT, Gestalts, Transactional Analysis and Inner child , Relational Intesubjective, intrapersonal skills.

Initial introduction session free of charge - assessment of needs
Counselling sessions are one hour in duration
Group/family therapy rates are dependent on size of group
