To Talk Counselling | Katy Harris | MBACP. HND. DIP. COUNS
Hello and welcome to my profile here on the counselling directory. Whatever distress has brought you here, you're looking for help and you've already taken the first step by seeking support. To help you decide if the counselling I provide sounds helpful for you, here's some details about what I can offer you.
I am a qualified counsellor, MBACP with 3 years experience counselling. My core training and philosophy is person-centred. To put it simply, this means I believe in the tools and strength within you. These resources you were born with. My aim is to facilitate you towards a clearer understanding of yourself by helping you to access these resources. This approach has been proven to be effective through many years of research including a broader positive impact on society.
I have a high empathy approach and also draw on other theoretical, philosophical, intuitive and practical elements, working at your pace, with your individual needs. I will help you to address the issues causing you distress. Unravel complicated, confusing thoughts and feelings and untangle your troubles in a safe, professional space without judgement.
I provide face to face counselling in Manchester in my private practise, 'To Talk Counselling', based in Chorlton, M21 and telephone counselling.
I also provide online counselling. Online counselling is often a practical solution for parents, busy professionals/those who travel frequently with work, people living in remote areas, disabled and/or housebound, carers and people who prefer/require the convenience, comfort or security of attending counselling from home.
Please do drop me an email with any questions, visit my website to find out more about the counselling I provide or to book an initial consultation.
