About me

I am Katie, and I am a clear, honest and strongly encouraging therapist, who is open to working with people from all walks of life.

The type of therapy I practice is Relational and Embodied. This means that I will always connect with you first, and look at ways of working together which compliment your nature. I have a very fluid style of working- so I will meet each individual differently. I will work with you by offering close attention, and providing a relationship where we can be as un-defended and curious as possible. Nothing is too small, too large or too complex to be worked with, from this basis.

I believe humour to be a hugely important part of connecting with one another, so always work in a way which is open to laughter and inviting of creative energy.

Both short term work, as well as longer term work is available. You will find your own way through therapy, and the journey will tend to take the time it needs in order to be valuable and enriching.

Whatever the issue, there will be a way to speak about it together. I provide a totally open space, free of stigma, where you can speak about what is true for you.

Key details

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

The Millennium Hall has disabled parking at the entrance, and a ramp to bring you to the first floor. From there, both the practice room and toilet are fully wheelchair accessible.
