I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working in the Clapham area. I offer a warm, supportive, safe and confidential space to talk about your feelings, thoughts and concerns, without judgement. I will not give you advice or direct you to take a particular course of action. I will not sit in silence either, but actively interact and work with you, responding with empathy and understanding.
I work with individuals weekly, on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of exploring your issues and enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I am experienced in helping clients who have experienced difficulties with:

My Clapham practice is within easy reach of Clapham North tube, Clapham High street overground station and Clapham Junction station. My Waterloo practice is within easy reach of Waterloo station and underground, Waterloo East, and Lambeth North tube.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Masters and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre in London and am a registered member of the BACP.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients in both short-term, time limited and long term counselling. In addition to my private practice I provide counselling at a women’s charity in Camden and on an NHS service through IAPT (improving access to psychological therapies). With a background in teaching, I have experience in working with a diverse range of people and can empathise with their various cultural, social and economic circumstances.
As part of my continuing professional development I am currently undertaking further training in Psychotherapy.
As a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I abide by its code of ethics.

My fees are usually £60 per session depending on income and circumstances so please ask if you feel you are in need of a lower fee session space. I offer a limited number of concessionary rates for people on very low income and students.
I also offer a free telephone consultation before an initial session.
My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is Integrative. This means that I will work with you, drawing from a variety of models of counselling to suit your individual needs.
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist I am experienced in drawing upon different theoretical counselling models such as relational, attachment based, psychodynamic, and person centred. Above all I believe that the relationship between myself and my client is very important and I aim to build a supportive, safe and confidential relationship where we can discuss and explore your thoughts, feelings and issues together.
Sessions are weekly and last for 50 minutes.
