Kathy Montgomery, MBACP, BA Hons Integrative Relational Counsellor
My philosophy is to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and acceptance. Together, we will look at your existing strengths while exploring new ways of thinking and behaving. We will focus on the present but may look at your past to understand how you came to be. We'll set goals, identify barriers and improve your coping strategies. In the process of doing therapy, you will gain greater self-awareness and have the potential for change and growth.
I provide short-term and long-term counselling and work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, self-harm, sexual identification, anger, body image, life transitions, family conflict, grief and bereavement.
