I provide a comfortable and welcoming environment to encourage you to openly express feelings and concerns in a way that may be difficult to do with friends or family. Within a trusting, understanding and non-judgemental relationship you will have the opportunity to gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and to initiate change.
I am an Integrative psychotherapist which means that I use a combination of Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioral and Attachment theory in order to offer individualised therapy.
I also offer Life Coaching for individuals who may lack motivation or clarity as to how to move forward.
My private practice is based in Allestree, a mile from Derby with easy access by bus and within walking distance of the University of Derby. Free parking is available at my premises.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have gained an MSc, Post Graduate Diploma and Post-Graduate Certificate in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Life Coaching and am a Registered General and Registered Children's nurse. In addition, I work as a volunteer for Cruse Bereavement Care and hold a British Sign Language Stage 2 qualification. I have worked as a nurse with the deaf for 11 years.

Fees
My fees are £35 per 50 minute session. Students £28 per 50 minute session.
Further Information
I recognise that, for some individuals, the death or loss of their pet can be a very distressing experience and yet the grief may not be understood by others. I offer bereavement counselling for such grief.
