About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, with 20 years experience working in NHS mental health services and private practice.

It's important for people to feel comfortable and relaxed in therapy, I offer a safe space for you to share and feel heard. I work with adults and children and have specialist experience of working with parents and families.

I offer day-time and evening appointments on weekdays. I can see you virtually or face-to-face appointments in a clinic in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. You can decide the length and frequency of treatment to suit your circumstances.

Psychological difficulties I work with:

  • Anxiety, including generalised anxiety disorder (worry), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, emetophobia (fear of being sick), specific phobias.
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Feeling sad, low mood, depression
  • Low self-esteem, feelings of failure
  • Stress, feeling overwhelmed and exhausted
  • Professional issues and career transition
  • Grief and Bereavement
  • Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
  • Family Issues
  • Adjustment to becoming a parent in the antenatal and postnatal period (postnatal depression)
  • Common young childhood difficulties, such as feeding, toileting, sleep, tantrums and separation issues

  • Children struggling with anger and presenting with challenging behaviours (aggression, screaming, hitting, biting, etc.)
  • Post-diagnostic support for ADHD and Autism

Unfortunately I am not able to provide the right level of support for self-harm/ suicidal ideation or eating disorders in my private work.

Therapeutic Approach:

I am able to draw on a number of different therapeutic approaches, including:
