What am I offering?
I am a BACP Accredited counsellor with 14 years (post-qualifying) experience. I have worked extensively with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work-related stress and also psychological trauma stemming from abuse.
I work from home offering a warm, supportive counselling environment allowing you the time and space to reflect.
My aim is to help and support you in order to enhance your emotional health and sense of well-being, believing that this can be achieved by developing your self-awareness within a trusting and supportive relationship.
I also offer practical ways of building emotional resilience into your life through mindfulness and breathing exercises.
How do I work?
I offer an initial 'no-cost' assessment to allow us the opportunity to explore what is happening for you right now. It is also my hope that this session will help you to decide whether you would like to work with me and also enable me to assess whether I have the appropriate skills to help you achieve the change you desire.
I offer both short term (6 - 8 sessions) and long term therapy and can offer both day and evening appointments.
