Welcome to my page.
You may be feeling out of sorts (and perhaps not even sure why); overwhelmed; have suffered a loss or trauma; suffer anxiety, depression or feel low. You may have experienced a life event or change which has left you feeling overcome, lost, confused or helpless. You may have a difficult decision to make.
When we are feeling low or experiencing difficulties it can cloud everything we do: our ability to think clearly; make decisions; interact with others.
Sometimes we don't know where to turn. I can offer you a space to be yourself, to explore where you currently are and help you to clarify and discover new insights, perspectives and meaning.
I work alongside you with the utmost compassion, care, sensitivity and acceptance.
My fundamental belief at the heart of all my work is that support can be life-changing. Underpinning all my work is providing a supportive, therapeutic relationship and environment that facilitates your own ability to heal and restore your sense of self.
What happens if you'd like to contact me?
You can contact me by telephone or email to clarify any questions or concerns you may have and to make an initial appointment.
In our initial session we would look at what brings you to counselling, I would explain how I work and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
If you decide you would like to continue we would usually meet weekly at the same time each week. Each session is an hour and I have availability during the day, evenings and Saturday mornings.
I offer both short and long term counselling.
Please do look at my website for further information - www.kateparmentercounselling.co.uk
If you have any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me for an informal no-obligation chat.
