There might be many reasons why you are considering psychological therapy. I understand that it might be quite frightening, maybe it seems not yet necessary or it feels like it is too late to change. It is already a big step that you have decided to take a look here.
Thank you for visiting my profile.
My practice as clinical and counselling psychologist is informed by theories developed in clinical psychology, psychopathology, developmental and cognitive psychology, sexology, psychology of addictions, neuropsychology.
Through continues learning activities I widen my abilities to use techniques offered by various therapeutic models, all based on my clients presentation and identification of their goals and change that they want to achieve. I find systemic ideas and CBT methods useful in helping my clients bring new solutions. I use also intercultural therapy, usually while working with couples and families. I believe that all approaches aim to help the client to gain better understanding about the sources and meaning of the problematic situation, unwanted behaviours or troubling feelings and thoughts. It is however the relationship developed with the therapist that enables positive experience and introduces helpful solutions.
I have been working in therapeutic settings for last 10 years. I offer non-judgemental and safe space to explore and invite alternative narratives and exercising the change. That wouldn’t be possible without two-way communication and I am always willing to share my thoughts and I am happy to hear the feedback. There are no wrong or right answers.
I believe that there is always a way to improve our well-being and put our mind at rest. I feel privileged to be part of my clients’ therapeutic journey. And every journey is different and I am always inspired by my clients’ capacity and creativity in achieving their goals. It is an honour to participate in the process of embracing new perspectives and guide my clients through unfamiliar and alternative paths.
