My name is Dr Kasper Pallesen and I have more than eight years clinical experience of working as a therapist within the National Health Service (NHS) and in a private practice in Denmark. I offer effective, evidence based therapy in English and Danish in areas such as:
- Depression and low self esteem
- Anxiety Disorders including:
- Panic Attacks
- Social Anxiety
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder and worry
- interpersonal difficulties.
If you are unsure about how to describe your difficulties or feel that you can relate to more than one of the above, please do not hesitate to call me for an informal discussion to find out if therapy might be something for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist offering individual psychological therapy in central London. I completed my professional doctorate training in 2012 at the Institute of Psychiatry in London after completing a bachelor in psychology in 2007 and a Masters in psychological research methods in 2008 at the University of Westminster.
Areas of counselling I deal with
If you are considering starting therapy, I would invite you to contact me for an initial phone consultation. During this initial consultation we would discuss your current situation and what support your are looking for. This is to enable us to decide whether to arrange a face to face session.
Initial Telephone Consultation (15-20min): Free
Subsequent face to face sessions (50 min): £85
Payments can be made either by cash or bank transfer prior to each session.
You can cancel your appointment by leaving a message on my phone or writing me an e-mail. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, so if you cancel the appointment within 24 hours of its scheduled time you will need to pay the full amount of the session.
Help to cover fees
Please be aware that if you have private health insurance it may be able to cover some of your fees. In addition, some employers will pay fees for their employees.
