I practice as a Jungian Analyst and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. I have a great deal of experience working both privately and in the NHS with individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. The majority of people I work with suffer from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, changes in mood, impulsivity etc which contributes to their experience of psychological pain and difficulties in both work and personal relationships.
Initially I offer at least two consultations to establish what the person is looking for, what they identify their difficulties to be and whether my approach is potentially of benefit for them. I offer long and short term therapy to individuals from all backgrounds and ages. Long term work is generally indicated for people who have experienced ongoing psychological difficulties over a period of time. Short term work can be more suited to people with specific problems of a more recent origin. In both long and short term work the aim is to reach an understanding, and create the potential for change, through an exploration of the emotional and psychological problems.
I supervise both qualified therapists and psychotherapy trainees.
My consulting room is based in south London and located a few minutes walk from a tube and London Overground railway station and numerous bus routes.
If you have any queries or would like to arrange an initial consultation please email or leave me a message.
