Karen Brunning, MBACP, PG Dip, BSc (Hons)
It can be difficult to ask for help and yet you need someone to talk to as you may have concerns about important areas of your life. Perhaps you are experiencing difficulty with anxiety, stress or depression, or maybe life is too challenging for you at the moment. Finding the right therapist is important so I offer an initial consultation to help you decide whether we will be able to work together and if counselling is right for you at this moment. This is an opportunity for you to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to gain from it.
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist providing an independent private service in the Havering area. I offer individual counselling in a confidential, non-judgmental and safe environment. I use an Integrative approach to therapy, which means I am able to offer a range of methods to tailor the therapy to meet your needs.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (registration number 084047) and work according to their ethical framework and standards for professional conduct.

I am committed to further training and personal development and I attend courses and workshops to enhance my knowledge in order to provide a rich therapeutic experience.
