Thank you for looking at my business profile.
Please don't suffer alone in silence any longer.
I offer a professional, warm and confidential counselling service in North Devon. My training is person centred and integrative which means that you are at the heart of everything we do. It allows us to focus on your current issues but have a glance back at what may have occurred in your past that is still impacting on you today, and to find ways together to help you create a brighter future.
You may notice that you are experiencing some signs of anxiety or that your mood has dropped and you wonder if you may be suffering from depression. You are the expert on you. Whether you have something current that is affecting you, or you wish to engage in some longer term work, it' s your choice. We can discuss any goals, hopes or wishes you have and work towards you experiencing better mental health and a more fulfilling and happier life.
My whole life's work over 30 years, training and experience enable me to offer you an authentic and responsive service. Working as a Metropolitan Police Officer, in addiction rehabilitation centre's and women's refuges has equipped me to work sensitively with a vast array of issues.
I also provide a service in North Devon for adult survivors of sexual abuse and rape. All genders are welcome. It is a low cost service and as the project grows I will be offering peer support and workshops in addition to counselling.
Please contact me for further details or to refer yourself.
* I currently have 2 bursary assisted places available for SAND *
I am able to travel to other locations, price on application.
I am currently spending my time between supervising at CRUSE ( bereavement charity), Clarity ( generic mental health charity) and Intagr8 ( a Bideford Community charity) in addition to seeing private clients and supervisees. I also teach counselling students in various locations and offer professional development workshops.

- Low cost - please ask.
My fee covers room hire, supervision, Bacp membership and insurance.
Low cost available - Please do not let finances be a barrier to accessing therapy. We can work out a way for you to receive counselling, whether that means you come less frequently or source a local free agency that suits your requirements. There is almost always something that we can make work.
Sometimes people welcome the opportunity to talk openly about finances. Often, like other parts of your life, spending may be spiralling out of control. It is frequently an interesting and helpful conversation to have. What are you willing to compromise on in the short term to have long term gain?
If you are a company that would like to retain me for staff counselling or supervisory requirements then please contact me to negotiate a fee.
I am also available to book for cpd events, particularly around drug and alcohol issues and up to date trends around NPS ( New Psychoactive Substances - formally known as ' legal highs')
