Braywick House West
I am a fully qualified, BACP registered counsellor and a couples therapist. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your relationship, I believe it is worth talking about it.
You may have come to a point where you want to change how you feel or to find a happier way to be in your relationship. Together we can get to the roots of what is troubling you and find a way forward. My approach is awareness and change oriented.
I hope this profile and my website can help you to gain a sense if I may be a good fit for what you are looking for. Coming to therapy can often feel like a big and courageous step to take, and it is. When you feel ready to make this first step, I would be pleased to hear from you.
You can contact me in a way that feels most comfortable to you: whether it is dropping me an email or having a chat over the phone to see if counselling is what you need at this time.
Training, qualifications & experience
My therapeutic interests and counselling experience include:
- anxiety and panic attacks; I also regularly offer workshops on overcoming anxiety,
- relationship difficulties; whether it is starting a relationship, maintaining it or letting go,
- problems with intimacy or sex,
- life-sapping depression,
- healing after divorce,
- bereavement and any other painful loss,
- IVF support for individuals and couples,
- pregnancy, birth and postnatal counselling.
I have been privileged to help individuals and couples who were feeling anxious, depressed, stuck or simply overwhelmed with life to find a way forward and become more happy, at peace or confident.
I work with clients privately and also as a group therapist in a parent & baby group for Home-Start UK. Before setting up my practice in Newbury and Maidenhead, I provided therapy for two multi-cultural counselling centres in London, as well as for London South Bank University students and primary school pupils. I also supported people in the midst of a suicidal crisis at the Suicidal Respite Centre in London.
