About me

I became a counsellor because I wanted to help people recognise their own power and potential. My role is to help you break free from self limiting beliefs and behaviours.

At different stages of your life you may have found yourself e struggling to cope. You may may adapted to habits that are unhealthy for you such as:

* Withdrawing from social situations

* Shopping or eating more

* Hoarding

* Working longer, training harder

* Holding onto an unhealthy relationship

* Allowing a good relationship to deteriorate

* Using alcohol, drugs, medication to numb painful thoughts

* On your phone constantly, browsing and checking social media sites

No matter which of these or other coping strategies you have adopted, living with unresolved emotions restricts your life. It stops you from forming deep meaningful connections. Counselling can help you to examine your behaviors’ and help you to change the cycle of conflict with yourself and others. Anger and criticism may leave you feeling lonely and wondering how did things become this hard. You may be coping with this conflict, anger, resentment and frustration by withdrawing into your own world.

You may have decided now that you don’t want this to be story:

* The same problems arising again and again

* Constant cycle of fighting with issues never being resolved

* Small upsets escalating into major upsets

* Feeling empty and burnt out

* Feeling overwhelmed and out of control

* Lacking motivation, feeling sad/depressed

* Struggling to find a sense of purpose/direction

This signals a turning point, a sense of knowing the nature of pain in your life and an internal sense of wanting to change. As your counsellor I can help you to:

* Recognise and resolve old patterns

* Improve the way you communicate with others

* Learn to manage anxiety and distress

* Deepen your understanding of yourself and others

* Heal relationships

* Heal yourself and become free from the prison of your past

I invite you to text or email me to set up a free 10 minute confidential phone consultation.
