About me

I can help you to embrace who you really are, accept your strengths and limitations, and improve your life. We are all unique yet we insist on measuring ourselves against other people, social norms and cultural beliefs.

I regularly work with individuals who are experiencing issues relating to Depression, Health, Low Self-Esteem, Work related Stress, Anxiety, Abuse, Anger, Trauma, Sexuality, Bereavement and Loss.  I also work with individuals or couples who are experiencing difficulties in their Relationship.

All of us encounter problems in everyday life: in relationships, with children and other family members and at work. When these difficulties lead to anxiety or depression, relationship breakdown, kids out of control, obsessive thoughts or behavior, or traumatic memories surfacing, I can help. You may simply want to improve the quality of your life and need a helping hand.

With counselling in a caring, supportive and challenging relationship, you can explore and change old, unhelpful ways of being and doing. You can find out what is behind the depression that you experience. You can make links with your childhood experiences and relationships in ways that are freeing and enable you to live fully in the present.

I consider myself to be a grounded practitioner who respects peoples' values, culture, existing skills and autonomy. I firmly believe that we are all capable of making productive changes when we are ready and able.
