I work with adults, couples and children.
Do you find the speed of life is too fast?
Do you find that everyday stresses and strains feel bigger as a result?
Do you feel as if your own needs get neglected?
Do you find this has a negative effect on your relationships?
I am very passionate about building self esteem, I believe everyone has the rights to be cared for, loved valued and respected, this is our human right, and as a counsellor I work hard in building a therapeutic relationship to enable the clients to explore their issues in a safe space. I use a non-judgemental approach.
You are the expert of your own life.
Does your child suffer with issues of self-esteem? Are they questioning their sense of worth?
Therapy helps them to explore their emotions in a safe place, enabling growth and well-being.
Couples need help to communicate their feelings using a non-judgemental approach, which enables them to find appropriate solutions and positive ways forward.
What we fail to realise is that our greatest task is not only about discovering self love, It's breaking down the walls life has built against it.
Training, qualifications & experience
I achieved an Advanced Diploma in therapeutic counselling in 2002, this has given me 12 years experience, growth and development.
I have 6 years training and working with children at Place 2 Be, 8 years working as a school counsellor and have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
With a qualification in Relate's 'Couple Therapy', enabling couples to work through their issues in a safe space.
I have 10 years working 3 days a week at a private well being clinic - working with adults, couples and children, face to face, helping clients explore and develop in a safe therapeutic space. Helping them to use their own resource which enables better coping mechanisms to build confidence and self-esteem.
