About me

I have worked as a counsellor for 15 years in a number of statutory and voluntary organisations, supporting adults young people and children through their difficulties for example, bereavement, pregnancy, sexual health, employment, physical disability, mental health, school and relationship issues.

I can provide counselling to adults, couples, children and young people, at Durham Therapy Centre as well as venues in south west Durham and the Stockton area.

I also can offer supervision to counsellors (students and qualified).

It is important to me that any person with whom I meet is given a "safe haven" to explore whatever they need, in order to be able to manage and enjoy their own life. I hope to help my clients to explore their individual body felt sense and be alongside them throughout this journey of "becoming".

Supervision & training

I have worked as a qualified supervisor since 2010 supporting student and qualified counsellors.  I believe that it is a collaberative process of learning and exploration for both supervisor and supervisee.
