About me

I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Psychosynthesis Counsellor.  My clients come from many different backgrounds and bring  a range of issues.

These may include childhood issues; relationship difficulties; abuse; trauma; depression and anxiety; isolation and loneliness; bereavement and loss.  Or there may be a feeling of emptiness - as if life has lost it meaning and direction.

Integrative Psychosynthesis is a  relational and holistic approach which values 'care of the Soul'. Underpinned by clinical theory and practice, Integrative Psychosynthesis acknowledges the whole person - mind, body and spirit.

I provide a confidential, supportive space where the 'untold story' can be voiced and witnessed, and new insight into current difficulties or clues into future directions, can emerge.

Each person's healing process is unique.  Working collaboratively with you, on the issues affecting your life, I draw on a number of integrative approaches of mind, body and the imagination to offer support and expand awareness.   In working this way you are enabled to foster a fuller and deeper relationship with yourself  and others, and may discover hidden strengths and potential.   I also have specialist training in supporting survivors of abuse and trauma, and those experiencing PTSD symptoms.

My private practice is in Queens Park, London NW6.  I work with clients on a long or short term basis.  This can be discussed at the first meeting.

As well as my private practice, I work as a trauma recovery counsellor in a women's orgnisation.

I am a member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I adhere to their Code of Ethics. I attend regular professional clinical supervision.
