Professional, warm approach. Empathic person and counsellor helping families coping with special needs or otherwise to improve their relationships and family life. I use common sense approach and simple straight forward talking and planning to help Carers in their caring role and find a positive outcome for them.
Counselling can be a particular source of help around the time of any diagnosis of special need or illness, transition or change happening, or when you feel overwhelmed and family and friends are too close to tell. You may need space and time to acknowledge you are an individual as well as a Parent or Carer.
Feeling really listened to will relieve stress, by telling your story and we can work together helping you move forward, feeling more able to cope with your caring role, look at choices and action plan any changes you wish to make.
