About me

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of BACP. I have extensive counselling history in anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence amongst others.
No two people are the same therefore, I work in an integrative approach which is tailored made to suit your needs. I give a warm non-judgemental approach offering empathy, positive regard and honesty. Together we can challenge the issues that cause you distress and discover more acceptable ways of being, ways that allow you to be comfortable and accepting of who you are.
I understand how difficult it may be to discuss your thoughts and feelings with a complete stranger, it's normal to feel apprehensive and a little nervous but with time that will ease or disappear altogether.
We can never predict how our life plans out or the events that happen to cause us distress. Some have always been there and we've never had the courage to speak out until recently.   Or did you become aware of 'something' that wasn't quite right and you need to explore it so you can reach your full potential, be person you really long to be.
Seeking counselling isn't easy, it takes time to find the right counsellor to suit your needs and this is something I never underestimate.
I am here to offer you the opportunity to work through your areas of concerns with a non-judgemental approach and a safe environment.
