Julie Lee Dip. Couns MBACP (Accredited) - Tranquil Minds
Life is inevitably challenging from time to time; I can help you to become more aware of your own coping abilities and gain confidence to deal with both present and future situations or minimise their effect, allowing you to live in more satisfactory way.
I offer a safe and secure place to really explore issues and understand emotions that can be holding you back. My peaceful room offers a calm and relaxing space. I firmly believe we all have the answers inside us, we just sometimes need the time, space and expertise to find them.
My counselling sessions are a reflection of my passion and commitment to therapy. It is possible to learn ways to manage your emotions more effectively and successfully, therapy works and the benefits for yourself and your loved ones are life changing.
How I work
At first contact I will invite you for a free initial 30 minute consultation to find out what counselling is all about and for you to decide if it is for you.
I work in an integrative style, which means I am able to work from different therapeutic modalities in order to tailor the best route to match your needs. I work with a client led approach working with whatever is most important to them.
I work with a wide range of issues but also specialise in working with those who have experienced domestic violence and abuse.
How Do You Know If You Need Counselling?
You may be feeling sad, lonely or isolated or perhaps bereaved, anxious, angry or lacking in confidence? Perhaps you feel unable to cope and have become overwhelmed? These painful emotions could be linked to current concerns, relationships or experiences from the past.
Counselling can assist you to talk through your difficulties in a place where you are cared for, respected and safe in a confidential setting. I aim to build a genuine counselling relationship of trust enabling you to feel supported, heard and ready to explore your thoughts and feelings.
