Julie Hill, Dip. in Couns. MBACP (Accred).
I am a experienced Adult, Couple and Youth Counsellor and Supervisor; an accreditated member of the BACP and UKRCP registered.
I currently work with both adults and young people in a Substance Misuse Agency in Norwich and a Suffolk College (counselling both staff employees and students). I am an Associate Counsellor with an Employee Assisted Programme Agency; working with clients from all areas of industry; including staff within the Crown Prosecution Service and staff at HMP Prison Service.
I have a successful private practice in Norwich and receive NHS referrals for clients with Eating Related Issues. I can work effectively with couples on varying issues, as presented.
I previously counselled in a variety of settings, including Connexions and schools within Suffolk County Council. I also established a Coaching Project within Broadland District Council, which is still very successful. My past experience includes working with several generic agencies within the Norfolk area.
I have extensive experience in working with numerous complex issues, including abuse, multifaceted traumas, bereavement, depression, relationships, confidence/self esteem issues, work related problems and substance misuse.
I offer both short and long term therapy and am willing to be alongside my clients in a caring, empathic, sensitive and genuine way.
