About me

I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a Masters in Clinical Psychotherapy.  BA, MSc, CTA, PGDip Psy. Counselling.  UKCP Registered.

I work with individuals and couples. I offer a safe, empathic and confidential space where you can explore and gain insight into the issues that are affecting you.

My work includes long and short-term therapy with clients who present with a wide range of personal concerns such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity issues, addiction, self-harm, childhood trauma, grief, bereavement.

Couples can benefit from professional support to make sense of concerns such as growing apart, difficulties with intimacy and sex, managing conflict, depression and anxiety, betrayal and affairs, separation and divorce, retirement.

Therapy is a confidential process that is different to talking to family and friends. Feeling comfortable with your therapist may help you speak more openly and safely about your thoughts, feelings and ways of managing that are not making you happy or that might concern you. These issues may be related to stresses in your daily life or the result of specific life events, often from childhood.  Our work can help you to understand how events from your past can be repeated in the present, often resulting in dissatisfaction and unhappiness. Becoming aware of  these unconscious ways of feeling, thinking and behaving can help you to find more satisfying and healthy ways of managing and live in a way that is more authentic and fulfilling.

I work in private practice at locations in Esher (Surrey) and Central London. I see clients in person and online.

You may have a specific issue you want to resolve or you may wish to reflect on your life and relationships over a longer period of time.

I offer an initial free 15 minute phone call with no obligation.
