It's a brave and insightful first step to recognise you'd like some professional support with what life is throwing at you. I'd like to invite you to a free initial session, where you can meet me and discuss what brings you to counselling. Finding the right counsellor for you is an important part of this decision, as you need to be seeing someone you feel comfortable with and where there's a good rapport.
Are you struggling to keep your head above water or feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, depression or stress? Does it feel like there's no way forward and that worrying alone is just making things worse? My therapy successfully addresses a wide range of life's problems. Together, we'll sort out your worries and disentangle any difficult thoughts. Analysis develops a clearer understanding of your mind and shines a spot-light on what it's getting up to! This in turn helps to uncover any unwanted patterns that may be repeating in your life, which we can then change. This will build your self-confidence, helping you feel empowered and happier.
Clients who have worked with me have reported 'feeling a weight lifting', 'coming out from under a black cloud', or that their mind feels 'more sorted, with everything neatly filed away, that previously felt like an unsurmountable heap'. Many also say they wish they'd come sooner!
In addition,my specialist field is working with clients with Autistic Spectrum issues and Aspergers Syndrome. My previous career included managing an organisation offering emotional support to parents of children with disabilities, careers advisor and a teacher within both mainstream and special needs settings. I was also a school governor at a secondary school for students with severe learning disabilities.
My practice offers a quiet, comfortable room, a 5-10 minute walk from Redhill station and there is parking in the road. It is within easy access to Reigate, Dorking, Crawley, Godstone, Nutfield, Merstham and Caterham.
