If you have found your way to this site, then it could be because you're in need; in need of support, direction or a way of making sense of a current confusion in your life or relationship. The pressures of living in the modern world can sometimes leave us feeling stressed and anxious, unsure of what to do or where to turn. Perhaps you or your partner have had an affair which has affected your relationship and are wondering if this betrayal and breach of trust can ever be healed? Maybe a partner is suffering from depression or anxiety or has anger management issues. At times like this, we can feel at our most powerless; we hope for someone or a situation to change or even reach out for something - alcohol, food or drugs - to help take away or deaden the difficult feelings that can overwhelm us.
There is another way; to engage in a process which will help you explore your problems, give you greater understanding and awareness of yourself and ultimately, the resources and power to make appropriate changes in your life. Working together with a counsellor in a safe therapeutic environment can give you the opportunity to make these changes and hopefully a more comfortable and fulfilling life.
