About me

I’m a qualified and experienced psychotherapist working in central London. I work in quiet surroundings not far from Farringdon tube station, on the edge of the city of London.

I have benefited from therapy later in life myself, and hence I know how helpful it can be. Among other things, therapy can help with improvements in working performance, the capacity to enjoy life more, and especially the development of inner strength and resilience to cope better with life's problems and difficulties.

I offer a safe & dedicated space, in which we can work together to try and make sense of what is going on in your life, with a view to lasting change.

How to get started

Please give me a call or email me to arrange an initial session.

The first session will be an opportunity for you to convey what is troubling you, and for us to decide if we will work well together.

I offer two ways of approaching therapy. We will discuss what is best for you. Some people know that they need to take time over this process, and not be rushed. In this case we work in an open-ended way, with no set end date. Others prefer to work to a set period of time. When this is the case, we will work together for 12 sessions. Sometimes this way of working is better if there is an important decision to be made, or if there is an obvious focus to your problem. In either case, sessions take place at the same time and place each week and last 50 minutes.

Training, qualifications & experience

My professional training took place at WPF Therapy, one of the U.K.'s leading training institutions for counselling and psychotherapy. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice, validated by Roehampton University.

I am a registered member of the BACP, the leading professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK, and FPC, the professional organisation for WPF graduates. I abide by the ethical codes of these organisations.
