My name is John Burke and I have been a practising counsellor in Uddingston, Hamilton and Glasgow for a number of years. I am committed to providing counselling,therapy and training in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

As a counsellor and therapist I work with individuals and groups on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. I also work with Groups in Mindfulness or Bereavement over a stipulated time.

My practice located within easy access to the M73/M74 and M8 and am walking distance from both bus and rail services.Easy parking is also available
I am also available for clinics in Central Glasgow if required.
I conduct counselling face to face or by telephone .

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a Person Centred Counsellor trained to Post Graduate Diploma level on an accredited BACP ( British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) course. As a member of BACP I practice according to their code of ethics and receive regular external supervision. Personal and professional development is also addressed on a regular and ongoing basis.

COSCA counselling skills certificate (Strathclyde University)
