Hello my name is Joanne Robinson and I work as a qualified counsellor in Lincoln.
I have experience working privately and in the voluntary sector with a variety of people on wide ranging issues. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and support and adhere to the BACP code of ethics which promotes professional and ethical working. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced criminal records bureau check.
I provide a confidential service in a safe and comfortable environment for you to explore the issues that are interfering with you being who you want to be and living the life you want to live.
Life can be a lonely place at times and it can be difficult to know which way to turn. To seek and obtain counselling is a strength it means that you are taking a step towards taking control of your life.
I offer short and long term Counselling where you will be able to explore your feelings, behaviour and thoughts, where new perspectives, possibilities and strengths can be discovered and where new decisions can be made, if necessary, which will enable to you live a more creative, resourceful and satisfying life.

Fees
I offer all prospective clients an initial assessment interview which provides us both with the decision of whether we wish to work together and to ascertain whether or not I could be of assistance to you. If we are not to work together, I will, wherever possible, provide information of alternative professionals you may wish to contact.
All sessions, including the initial assessment interview, last for one hour and are arranged for a mutually agreeable date and time each week. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellation of a session, otherwise the full fee is payable. The session starts at the appointment time and cannot be extended if you are late arriving. The agreed fee is payable at the end of each session.
