Joanne Louise Beale BA : Dip : Ad Dip
- Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression or anger?
- Do you feel like your life is on hold; either in your job, relationship or in life in general?
- Are you in a difficult relationship or wanting to understand your behaviour patterns?
- Have you experienced a loss or are you in the process of losing someone close to you?
Counselling can help........
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor I provide counselling in North West London. I will support you to work through any issues you may have by providing a confidential, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where you will be able to explore your thoughts and feelings. You will be able to develop and realise your true potential.
Through counselling I will listen to you and support you to explore the roots of your issues, identify past and present links in behaviour or thought processes and allow you the space to come to your own conclusions about what step you might like to take next. I am also able to work with your unconscious processes, which are not easily available or noticeable to you at present, but which maybe influencing your decisions and the way you relate to others.
I have worked with clients in different stages of their life, presenting a diverse range of issues. Be it in a crisis or even with a not so clear need for counselling. Through counselling, you can recognise the strength you have that has got you this far; identify new ways of dealing with difficulties; learn more about yourself and what you want out of life.
It can take a lot of courage to recognise that you may need support. And choosing a counsellor can be a difficult and personal decision. I believe that every client is unique and as a result every individual’s experience of therapy will be unique.
I would be very happy to discuss any questions or thoughts you might have in our first meeting, this will also give you a chance to think about whether you would like to work with me.
Why choose a Humanistic Integrative Approach........
I do not believe that only one approach works for each client in all situations. Humanistic Integrative Counselling identifies that there are significant connections between all approaches to counselling. It acknowledges that different clients have different needs and believes that no one single approach is sufficient. This will allow me to meet a client and to tailor the approach to their needs. This highlights the flexibility and autonomy that this approach offers to an individual who may wish to come to counselling.
The quality of the therapeutic relationship is fundamental to the Humanistic Integrative Approach. I believe that effective counselling and change is a result of the therapeutic relationship held between a counsellor and a client rather than the approach itself.
Humanistic Integrative Counselling is an approach that systematically considers the whole person – mind, body and spirit.
