About me

I am a fully trained counsellor with a background in Person Centred Counselling and qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I have worked in health care for 12 years, and been a qualified counsellor for 7 years.

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. I engage in monthly supervision and with regular training to ensure good practice. I have a CRB certificate.

Life can present us with difficulties which are hard to manage on our own. Sometimes we might want someone to talk to and share our problems with.

Counselling gives you the space and time to be listened to in an environment where you are warmly accepted. The sessions are confidential although there are a few exceptions to this which will be explained to you before counselling starts.

Beginning counselling can be a challenging first step. You may wish to book in one session to see whether counselling is for you. Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs £35.
