Jo Kelley (Reg MBACP) - Bristol Central Counselling
45 Alma Vale Road
My name is Jo Kelley and I am a qualified, Integrative Counsellor having completed an FdSc in Counselling through the University of Bristol. I am a registered member of the BACP.
My therapy room is in Clifton and I offer one-to-one counselling in a confidential and non-judgmental environment.
My basic therapeutic approach is person-centred but I integrate elements of other approaches including CBT and Gestalt therapy to best suit the needs of my clients to enable them to reach solutions to their issues.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the most important aspect of counselling and is paramount to helping resolve client concerns. I use the core conditions of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard to enable clients to explore their difficulties and support them to find solutions.
I believe that every individual deserves the right to reach their full potential whatever issues they may have and I am enthusiastic to share the therapeutic journey of recovery with every client.
