Joanna Clapp, Reg. MBACP. Counselling and Psychotherapy
Counselling and psychotherapy provide a confidential space where you can talk about what's concerning you in greater detail. Your counselling will lead to a deeper understanding about yourself, your current situation, and your relationships with others so that you move towards an improved sense of well-being and clarity.
I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist with an accessible private practice in Hastings and St Leonards. People come with all kinds of concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger, relationship difficulties and stress. Your confidential counselling will fit around you, including face to face, by Skype, or by phone.
A couple can be unsure if the difficulties they're going through are life's ups and downs, or something more serious. Counselling can help make your relationship more fulfilling, or can help manage your separation and its impact on others if this is the right thing for you.
In the first session, we will discuss and agree how best to work together and your counselling will start straightaway.
I offer flexible appointments which include weekends and evenings. Sessions can be short-term to focus on a specific concern, or longer-term allowing more time in a non-judgemental and private environment. If you prefer, I offer walking therapy outdoors. Skype or telephone counselling may fit in better with your working pattern or location, or with managing your disability.
