Jill Dighton BSc (Hons) MBACP (Accred). UKCP Reg.
If you are thinking about entering into Counselling sessions I know this can be a difficult time for you; not only are you experiencing the issues you have, but you are faced with making a choice of where to go for your appointments. My aim is to always be approachable, empathic, respectful and flexible. I believe in empowering my clients to be in control of their counselling process - whether short or long-term.
I offer individuals a professionally qualified, face to face, Psycotherapeutic Counselling service in a secure, confidential and non-judgemental atmosphere. I was trained and work in an integrative and relational way; this means I look at my clients needs and concerns then integrate theories, concepts and techniques in order to help the client in the best way possible. I also focus on how my clients relate to others and the world.
Since undertaking specialist training, I also see couples for Couples or Relationship Counselling. I support a couple as they explore and try to understand the relationship issues or difficulties they are experiencing. Together, I help the couple find a solution that works for them both.
Each Counselling session lasts for 1 hour. I have full Professional Civil Liability Insurance and Home Business Insurance. I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office.
